I have a couple of movies that have been sent to me by some friends via MSN Messenger. They are Avi files, roughly 700MB In size.

I have DVD disks, both DVD+R and DVD-R.

How do i burn the films onto the discs? What programmes? Which type of disc is best to use?

I appreciate any help. Thanks

Hi there,

If you want to burn .AVI files, one of the easiest software is VSO DivXtoDVD.

http://www.vso-software.fr/

It will convert your .AVI files (and other formats) to DVD format files VIDEO_TS (*.VOB)

Then with Nero, make a DVD-VIDEO or use your favorite burning software, but it has to be a VIDEO DVD.
AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS dirs must exists.

If you want to copy/shrink commercial DVDs, keep reading these forums, you'll be surprise all you can learn !

Enjoy...
