Help connecting dvr to computer

The help I need is 2 fold. First I need to hook up Comcast cable to my computer, any ideas on a good tv tuner card and software? Second, I want to transfer the shows that I have in my DVR to my computer to burn them to dvd. How do I hook that up and what software would you recommend? My DVR is the Motorola DCT-6208. I've been searching the forums but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Any help would be much appreciated.
