Just thought this would be helpful. I bought a new spindle of SONY DVD-R's and backed up some games to them. Manufacturer ID SONY08D1, and made in Japan. The games did not work and I thought it was my mistake. I burned onto different media and they worked. Has anyone else had or did not have the same experience with this media?

yeah sony ones don't work did ya get those from best buy? i saw them there for $20 for 50pk but instead i got the 4 tdk 25pk for $8ea

Yeah, I got them from Best Buy. It sucks that Sony's own media doesn't work on their system.
