Hi All,
I have a problem with my DVD drive. I own a HP Pavilion XF255 Laptop and had to recently have it formatted. I installed Windows XP Professional and updated it with SP2. But now everytime I start my computer it gives me the message "New Hardware Detected" and it asks me if I want to install drivers for the Matshita UJDA720 DVD/CDRW drive. When I click on Next it says it cannot find the drives and exits. I have tried locating the driver everywhere and even found one at driverguide.com which did not work. I followed all the instructions on this thread too..which did not work either

I dont know what else to do. Because of this I cant play certain DVDs and I keep getting the frustrating message from windows saying "New Hardware Detected"
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, this used to happen before I installed SP2 and only had Windows XP professional.
Please Help!
Thanks
