Last Xmass, I sended a DVD (original) to friends outside europe. Due to regio code on the player it won't work. I wonder if, when I am over there, it is possible to rip it, and burn it to a DVD, that can be played on their player. This means to recode the region from region 1 (europe) to 4 (US and Canada). As far as I recall the region codes correctly.

I just wonder how to do that. Off course the ripping and burning is only for personal use, and not ever intended for illegal purpose.

DVD Shrink can do it...when you choose to rip, there is a selection of region codes.

I believe DVD Decrypter can do it to.
