I am so sick of hearing this theory, has nobody actually thought of the possibility that if they did split halo 2 in half that it may have come on either two discs or released separately on another disc at the same time. It is so obvious that halo 2 the way it is now was the intended version of halo 2.

yeah, I'm so sick of theories too. Including that one. LOL Do you not realize even how lame what you wrote sounds? How many dual disc xbox games do YOU know of? I can't think of any. Or how many xbox games have been released with two separate discs sold at the same time? Again, I can't think of any.

In the original Halo, the player at least had SOME idea that an end was near. So the actual ending wasn't really a surprise. It progressed that way. With Halo 2, the player is left in a state of shock at the ending ... "it CAN'T end this way." and we were left a little disappointed. So you're telling me that this is the ending YOU would have chosen? Regardless, Bungie and Microsoft have made a fortune off the sales of these two games. And we'll all be lined up again like cattle to buy the next release regardless which xbox its released for. Admit it...you will be too. hehehe

If it's stupid but works, it isn't stupid.

Bungie could have been the first people to do it. As for the ending, Bungie could have made it like that purposefully to get more sales on halo 3. I don?t know its all-very confusing.

P.S I know this is a double post I said that in the other thread.

papa_face, I know it's confusing. To me, that's what makes all this so funny in the first place. Like any of us REALLY know what's gonna happen. LOL I think it's interesting that there are so many opinions. One thing is for sure, we ALL LIKE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the other post too...I actually have not heard that one before. Halo 2.5 bundled with xbox 2? SWEET! hehehe I don't care. When either the next xbox OR next Halo come out, money will go FLYIN' outta my pocket. I'm a sucker that way.
