Swap Magic 3.3 CD Freezes PS2 Game

I recently bought the Flip-top and SwapMagic 3.3 for the PS2 Slim Version. So far so good. The only issue I've experimented is with some CD backup games, not DVD. They just freeze in certain part of the game, arbitrary. I wonder if it is the media I'm using (SONY CD-R) or the method of making the backups (NERO cd-copy). Can someone give me advise ???

are they actual cd games, or games you downloaded off the net?

Sony media isn't exactlly the best to use but Swap CD 3.3 is known to boot some games awkwardly - have you tried an advanced boot (if you have that option)?

I'm gonna try other different medias and let you know. Not shure if burning speed is important in this case?
