I ordered the hdd loader 2.0 disks on the 14th of this month and still haven't received them and i have e-mailed them twice and no response--they have charged my card already and still nothing -- The disk said in-stock and ships in 24 hours
HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MODCHIPNOW.COM?? PLEASE RESPOND AND GIVE SOME ADVICE.

So what did you do? I just called my bank and told them to investigate and get my money back and if I hear from them then I will tell them to cancel my order and NEVER order from them again..

On the 12th January, I too ordered the HD installer discs form modchipnow for "immediate 24hr despatch"!!!!! but although I received an immediate confirmation email, I have not yet received the discs. On the web site the item is still marked as processing and despit having sent three or four emails I have received no replies. I intend to ask Mastercard to refund the payment to me and reorder elsewhere.
Old enough to know better young enough not to care!

ATTENTION: I FOUND OUT THAT MODCHIPNOW IS A SCAM!! DON'T ORDER EVER AGAIN. I CALLED MY BANK AND GOT MY MONEY BACK. I FOUND A NEW PLACE AND GOT THE HDD LOADER DISC WITH NOW PROBLEMS AND THEY ALSO HAD THERE NUMBER ON THERE SITE BIG AS DAY.

I too ordered from MODCHIPNOW.COM - I emailed them about my order. They emailed me back and stated that they were awaiting shipment from their supplier. Still nothing - I emailed again - no response. Today I tried to check the website and the website no longer exist! A total scam - I called my credit card company and got a credit back to my account. The lady told me that this was a big problem with companies like this. Lesson learned - from now on I will be more careful about who I order from.

just so you guys know their site is now down, and i did some research and people have been having problems with them since early 2004. so start calling your banks and CC companies.

Greetings All-Yep, I got sucked by ModChipNow too. They have apparently gone out of business and took a bunch of customers $ with them. From now on I thinl I'll do a little more homework before ordering from an unproven source in the future.

The site is back up. I placed an order in december. They actually did send me a chip, but not the swap discs I ordered two months later. They stopped replying to email. Does anyone live around Toronto? That's where their return address is located. I'd love someone to drop by and see what is at the address.

I too was scamed by modchipnow. The usual story: ordered a modchip, card was charged immediately, after a week or two started emailing about it, got no replies, requested cancellation and charge reversal, no luck there either, after two months of mucking around with MCN clowns got charges reveresed with my credit card company.
FYI: console fever charged my credit card, console fever is also reported to be a scam, check google search for more info on that. Console fever is a Canadian based site, use yahoo canada to get some hits on that.
There are some decent companies out there, just check them out before you buy.
I dont know if this helps or not, but if enough people submit complaints then MCN might be out of business! Here is a consumer protection organisation in Canada that you can submit a complaint to: http://www.cbs.gov.on.ca/mcbs/english/2452_3fe.htm

We should post something bigger for banning modchipnow.com . I too bought something and they didn't ship it for 3 months. I called my bank but my bank only refunds the money for 60 days. So for those of you who ordered here, make sure to call your bank before the 1st month because investigation takes a while. Guys, I've been getting emails from this girl named Laura from modchipnow.com and she always tells me "sorry for the inconvenience but it is on its way." I really hope that these people will get caught. Keep posting these on your website so people would know. Later guys..

Even if it shows up, is it worth waiting 3 months for? They don't tell you that the items are delivered via donkey-mail from China. Terrible place to deal with. You'll get emails from them until you really start asking for answers or what the hell is taking so long. There are far better places to deal with. Stay away from modchipnow.com
