When viewing the movie in powerdvd pause it where you want the picture. Right click on the pic and use capture to catch the pic. Transfer to graphics program like irfanview(freeware). Thats it.

Settings for PowerDVD 5.

Click Configuration icon( Looks like hammer) or press Ctrl+C
Player Setting tab > Advanced > Snapshot tab > Select Capture to file.
The default setting for XP will be.
C:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\My Documents\CyberLink\PowerDVD\Snapshot\PDVD_.BMP
From the Desktop, My Documents\CyberLink\PowerDVD\Snapshot
Click OK, Click OK.

Play DVD and Click Camera Icon or Press C to capture a picture. Do it many times to capture multiple pictures.

If you can get ahold of Ulead Vidoe Studio it has an option that is made for this. You can go through a movie and stop it and then save picture as.

if you still havent got this you can use Nero vission express. you need to put the files on your harddrive first with decrypter or shrink and the you can add the video files to the Nero project and then scroll through and stop at the place you want and then in the bottom of the window the movie is in there is a little picture of a camera, click this and it will let you save whats on the srceen as a picture.
