I can't seem to get my Xbox to read the EvolutionX dashboard boot disk, I've creating an iso which includes the files: evox.ini, default.xbe, the skins folder and a 200mb dummy file. I've tried using Roxio Easy CD creator and Nero v5.5 and followed all the settings read on other tutorials. I used a Memorex CD-R to flash the bios on my modchip and it worked fine, so why can't I load my Evolution X boot disk with a CD-R, I've also tried using a Memorex CD-RW, Memorex CD-R, TDK CD-RW and a TDK CD-R.
Please Help, Thanks.

I tried renmaning the dummy file to abc.bin and I also tried naming it 1.bin and both didn't work.
I also tried burning it on a DVD-R this morning and that didn't help either.

I need help, none of the things I have done have seemed to work, my Xbox will not read the EvolutionX boot disk, I re-burned it using Nero onto 3 different types of media, I also went to Best Buy after work today and bought a Panasonic internal PC DVD-ROM drive and hooked it up and the Xbox still won't read the boot disk, PLEASE HELP, I'm gonna go crazy soon.

read this tutorial to see if you have got all the basic steps down...
http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/evox-dummy.php
using a cdr/rw that previously worked for the bios doesnt mean it would work for the evox...(had first hand experience)
if you the option to do so..using a dvdr would work best but u first you should test it with any burned movie that you have on a dvdr and use the media that works
