Splitting a mpeg2/svcd file

I have ripped a dvd,converted it to svcd with tmpge,But i now need to split the file in half so i can burn it to some cdr-'s

Tmpge crashes when i try to use that(ive used it fine with mpeg1 files b4 though)

is there any programs out there that can do this?

Are you using the MPEG tools section. If you open that, then find you source filoe and then edit it. As long as you give it a separate name it shouldnt be a problem
