Well I tried to Backup Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. I used DVD Decrypter to copy it to my computer. Then when I burn it, it does not work. The game has a total of 4.33GB. And i checked the burned disk and it did not had the full 4.33 GB. I checked the folder that i saved the game on and it had 3 files. What's going on? How am I suppose to Backup Star Ocean?

INSTRCTIONS.
1. Take the ps2 game put it in the dvd rom or dvd burner, your choice.
2. open the dvd decryptor program then go to to tool bar and hit MODE>ISO>READ. Then choose the correct dvd drive that the game is in as the "source". Also choose where you want the files to be stored on the pc hdd. THEN CLICK DECRYPT , or the huge graphical picture at the bottom of the program which makes it run. The game is now copying to your HDD. Take the game out when finished (it might take a while).
3. Go to the same tab in dvd decryptor and choose MODE>ISO>WRITE. This will then let you look for the files you just created in step 2. Select the file that you just created. (There is only 2 files creadted so pick the .mds) (The smaller file)Then click WRITE, make sure there is blank DVD in the drive.

Well you how you said there should be "ONLY 2 FILES CREATED"? Well 3 files were created:
For files over 4.gb decytper will split the files.
Fat32 systems can have files bigger than 4gb.
(If you use ntfs file system you can disable that function.).
if that confuses you dont even worry about it.
i burnt my games recently at 4x speed and they all run just like original.
I think you only need to burn at 2x when you are using bad media like memorex. otherwise, the game will boot just fine.
Stay away from Memorex, Ritek Go4 is the way buddy.
