I captured and old move (Fort Apache) and burned it to dvd, the burn took over 5 hours using NeroVision Express 3. Is this normal? I'm using a Sony DRU-700A burning to Memorex 2x DVD-RW. I have A P4 2.8 ghz with 512 megs ram running XP pro service pack 2. The memory is whatever dell puts in a Dimension 8300 with 800 mghz frontside bus. Is ther any way to speed the process up? The video was captured with Window's Movie Maker because I can't get the sound (I have no idea why) if I use Nero.

Well, if you mean the whole time it took from when you started encoding to when you had the disc in your hand then thats not bad, depending on your PC's speed. I encoded the entire Ren and Stimpy season 2 to in about 3 hours with a 3Ghz pc.
