HELP: Menu Problem , Vision Express 3

What I wanted? >> Tomake a home VideoCD.
What I did? >> 1. Started NVE3(3.0.1.18)
2. Clicked Add Video Files > Added Videos > Clicked Next
3. On select menu page I selected a background
4. Then I clicked inside the view screen for editing the menu and was taken to edit menu page with WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHANGE? options on the right.
THE PROBLEM? >> When I move the mouse over WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHANGE? options, The further options does not appear on any of the menus (Layout , Background, Button etc.)

Why is this happening can any one tell me.
I use WIN XP SP2.
