is the iso the only file that needs to be on the cd..
(umm..a dvd-r or +r......which cd do i need???...

yes, just burn the ISO to the CD/DVD. Once it is done burning if you stick it back in the PC it will show you a bunch of folders and stuff that were packed in the iso.

ALso depending on your PS2 will determine what media to use. I use - DVD on all my backups on my V5/6 ps2
