Ok, I have followed all tutorials to rebuild my image, but when I go to record, it comes up with an error reading "Execute Error: CD/DVD ROM Recording Unit Controller"
I have that WNASPI32 blah blah driver in system32, but nothing works. I have no idea how to solve this problem, please help, im trying to rebuild mercenaries (ps2). thanks, james.
i read theres ment to be 2 errors, before you get to the recording screen, and that may be one of them, if so, I only get one, and then nothing happens, no recording screen, nothing. someone please help.
if you are trying to write the rebuilt iso. with cdvdgen 1.5 it wont work this software was made for a sony writer ignore this error. if you rebuilt the iso correct u should have 2 or 3 files when u are done. use a windows promt and copy files together. write iso. as you normaly would [DVD DECRYPTER] learned this from ACE. if YOU READ THIS ACE, THANKS BRO
both my writers are sony, but thats not the point, im not trying to write the rebuilt iso, for i havn't got the rebuilt iso in the 1st place. i have got to the point where i extracted original files from the ISO, put them into CDVDGEN, then named the disc with the SLUS and number, then gone to rebuild (click Rec) and it came up with that error message. ""Execute Error: CD/DVD ROM Recording Unit Controller"

you need to get a new copy of CDVDGEN. for some reason that copy might be deffective or missing something. i had the same error and i got a new copy and it works fine.
