hey im fairly new to this...ive ripped one dvd before in my life and completely forgot the program i used to go from the dvd decryptor vob file to a raw avi...just wondering if anyone has the names of any programs that will do that

Hmm, DVD2AVI comes to mind. Try searching the threads/downloads section for what others are using.

I've tried it all, over the years - this one's the best, whether you use DivX 5.2.1 or Koepi's XviD.

search xilisoft dvd ripper at this site. DivX codec is recommended.
