I'm new to Macs and to ripping, and need some help! I am trying to rip a Film DVD to use in iMovie to edit into a short clip. I have ripped with Mac the Ripper to VOB, no worries, but when I used DVDxDV to convert to Quicktime, it came out all lined and ugly! The VOB version was fine, though. What am I doing wrong?

Is there another way to get VOB converted to another format for use in iMovie/DVDPro without using DVDxDV or Cinematize (they both cost too much to buy).

Thanks so much anyone who can help a new Mac convert!
