i tried to back up need for speed underground 2 and dragonball z budokai 3 i used phillips dvd-r discs and i burned them with dvd decrypter and dragon ball z will not work and need for speed always freezes when it starts up i burned them at the lowest speed what can it be

Your lowest speed might not be low enough. Make sure it is 1x, or 2x at the fastest. Try for 1x though. What version PS2 do you have? Some only play +R discs. Check into that. Other than that, I have no idea.
