can sombuddy tell me wats an XBE patch... and what does it do...help plzz

All xbox games and applications have a .xbe file in them.It is like a .exe from a windows program.It's the executable or what starts the program.A patch for the xbe sometimes is necessary to make the game playable from the hdd or it takes the media protection off.
