hey... been curious about this for a while, but they have posted a guide..

looks compicated as HELL!. i admit it will still be 5 times easier then soldering. Effort zero installation MY ASS! lol, its about 75 usd, and id imagine shipping will be 5-10 dollars. lol and i bet you want this on the front of your console... really jazzs it up huh.

You dont have to have it there. The battery can most likely be removed once the chip is installed and working and the test panel could maybe even be hidden or removed.

It doesn't look complicated at all, you clip on two chips and plug a ribbon cable into a little connector...


Plus that image makes it seem like you need that test chip there. Once you install the chip, you plug it into that test panel and power it with a 9v battery or adapter to make sure its working. You can then get rid of it, once you make sure the chip is working...

It's not really meant to stay there like that....

The DMS4 Ezi doesnt have to have the light panel left on the machine after installation. The DMS4 Ezi site said that they forgot to put that in the installation guide. They are going to add this info. You dont need to even connect it at all they said it is only to check the install then you can put it in your PS2/Two box or where ever you keep all your other redundant stuff.
