I have a 300watt curtis home theater system with a built in dvd player. When I first got it I played the fast and the furious 2 dvd no problem. A month later (yesterday) I bought paparazzi I made a copy of it and put it in my dvd player it did start but the picture was distorted and the background image of the dvd players desktop was showing through the video, the sound and everything was off but only for teh first 15 or so minutes of the video, after 15 minutes the movie played fine. I tried the original copy same thing a couple other movies burnt and not still all distorted. I'm thinking the laser is off or something, is there somehow to fix this? as nice as they are curtis (the manufacturer) does not have any contact information in the manual, I couldn't find anything on the net about them except some stereo's that are being sold on amazon. So I'm replying on someone in these forums to help a fellow member out. It would be very much apprecaited.
