I am trying to burn ISO files in DVDecrypter using my NEC DVD burner. I am using Sony DVD+R 8X discs that was burning close to 14X. Basically I was burning a DVD .iso file in 5 minutes.

Now all of a sudden when I try to burn a DVD .iso with DVDecrypter it only burns a 2X and takes 25 minutes. What the heck happend? My buffers %'s jump up and down with the device buffer at 0%.

Can someone please tell me what the problem might be. I also tried burning the .iso file with Nero and it took 25 minutes as well.

Please help me get my speed back.

1) Make sure your HD is set to DMA mode.
2) Raise your buffer size to max in DVDD
3) Burn at a slower speed
