When playing my backed up movies on dvd-r and dvd+r on DVDX2 on my box sometimes I come across a problem that the disc skips at points or some chapters don't even play, yet the same discs work fine on my computer dvd drive. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how they solved it. I'm thinking that the decoding software for DVDX2 is just outdated. Does anyone know how to update this or know of a better standalone player for the xbox?
