I currently am using a Hercules Game Theatre XP in my HTPC. It's a great card except for one fatal flaw:

The digital out can only either be set to AC3 passthrough OR "main output". A reboot is required to switch them, so I can't even make an easy macro to do it on the fly.

I am looking for a card, possbility a Hercules Fortissimo that will pass both normal audio and AC3 passthrough out to my receiver without needed me to switch it. Obviously you can't do both at the same time but I'd at least like something that would auto switch the optical out to AC3 passthrough when it's applicable.
