If I record a vhs tape with macrovision on my machine via the ATI TV Wonder Pro card and the process the file with Decrypter's remove macrovision setting, this will not remove macrovision... Correct? It must be removed before it enters the machine, since it is an analog timing issue.

Please let me know if I am on the right track here.

Right...Macrovision is an Analogue Copy protection so No Software will remove the Macrovision Signal, The Signal has to be removed before it hits your Capture device useing something like a Video stabilizer....
