Do you have to take out any thing when you get the slide card. I saw the picture on one of the earlier posts and it showed that their is no tray cover(The thing that has the Playstation logo on it). Do I need to remove anything please let me know.

No, that's all you have to alter to use the SlideCard on your system. It can't work with the new Slimline ps2 though.
