Hi all....I am a newbie to making backup dvds. What I would like to know is what software to get to make a dvd that includes the menu. I can make a backup movie but no menu.
Any help will be appreciated!

How are you making your backups with no menu?I use DVD Decrypter,DVD Shrink or Nero Recode.I do most of my backups as Main Movie Only Both Shrink and Recode will do the full movie with menus if that is what you want.

I guess I should have put my software info in the first thread (DUH) sorry about that.
I am using the trial version of ICOPYDVDS2 and the free version of DVD43. I am starting to wonder if I can't get the menu because it is a trial version. I plan on purchasing it if I can get the menu function to work. Maybe someone on this site usues it too and have the full version of it. Can you burn the menu using ICOPYDVDS2?

Thanks for the info about the software you use. I will take a look at those too. I just might go with them instead of what I have.

You can download both here for free so it's hard to beat the price!There are tons of guides on how to use these programs.Shrink will Rip/Encodemost movies you will need Decrypter,Nero or another program to burn.Decrypter will rip all the movies including the newest protections and works well with Shrink to burn.If you have Nero,Recode2 will Encode/Burn and you will need Decrypter to rip to your hard drive.Your best bet is to buy some DVD-RW's until you get your settings right.If you need them I have some links to some great guides,let me know how it works out and Good Luck!!!
