Well, it might backup...I'm using Decrypter now, and it has been running for 22+ hours. I have the read error retries cut down to 0, but it still takes a long time. Isn't there some sort of way to use a file or something to tell it were not to try to copy? Can anyone help me back this up sooner? Thanks!

Successfully copied using DVD Shrink, but the read rate for the desk was extremely slow. I use a BenQ DW1620, which has a max read rate of 16x, but with AVP, the fastest it would read the disk was 2x. It tool about 35 minutes to rip the DVD to disk. So, to answer your question, you can't force your DVD drive to read a disk faster than you are getting currently.

DVDXCopy copied the entire movie with no problems. I watched the copy and quality was good with no other problems.

Download the Trial Versions of AnyDVD and CloneDVD
After you install them both reboot
You should be able to backup this movie just fine after that
Good Luck and Enjoy

AnyDVD from Slysoft will bypass the CSS and the backup you make with CloneDVD will be Region and CSS FREE
CloneDVD from Elby is the best Transcoder I have found yet and I have tried most of them
Both Programs are Updated regularly
Hope this answers your Question

Okay, so, it turns out my disk is bad. After watching it the night I bought it, and then trying to back it up 30 times, I tried to watch it again, and it just doesn't play on any DVD player anymore. It's times like these that remind me why I backup my precious movies. Thanks for all the tips!
