hello happy back up world this is your captain speaking.well as you can see i have sucessfully backup`ed every movie listed with dvdxcopyexpress except for "THE GRUDGE".you can use the dekrypter program, then use dvdshrink and that should do the trick.well happy burning ........***movie studios like columbia are going with this new css stuff, for most not all , you should use dekrypter and then dvd shrink for there dvd`s........HAPPY BURNING !!!!!!!
Hi Dude, Uh, The Grudge isn't yet released. In addition, the NEW css protection (Arccos) that you speak of, is also on these: Resident Evil 2, Little Black Book, and The Forgotten. "Express" will NOT back these up! However Decrypter & Shrink will, BUT ANYDVD & DVD Shrink is way faster! Decrypter works great, but it takes a lot longer than using what I just mentioned.
I get movies 1 even 2 weeks in advance. All of next weeks releases, with the exception of the sony ones can be ripped with shrink. Decrypter will take care of sony releases. There is no need for anydvd, shrink and decrypt are free. It seems like more and more people are having problems with the trial version of anydvd running in the background.
I will agree that with the exeption of the Sony ones DVD Shrink handles them VERY well. My main point was that "Express" will NOT backup the Sony ones, at all.I was unaware that there where any problems with ANYDVD trial running in background. Any troubles with the "paid" version that you know of?
Just the trial version. Not sure why they had problems, but when I told them to uninstall it and just use shrink or decrypter their problems were solved. I myself have been using shrink and Nero for almost 2 years without a problem until last month. I now use decrypter for the sony releases. I am very happy with the results of these two free programs.
