I just got my PSTwo Slim, and I´m interested in getting it multi-region without modchips.. i´ve read that DVD region x doesn´t work with my pstwo version. is that true? If it is, is there any alternative using swap discs?

No, I'm pretty sure there is no permanent solution to modding your PS2 without actually modding it.

My recommendation : Backup your DVDs using DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter and burn them back onto DVD-R (or DVD+R, depending on your PS2 version) without the region.

I'm fairly sure both give you the option to burn without region.

Remy, I know there´s no permanent way of doing it.. but isn´t there any way doing some disc swap?? I´ve read the description of action replay EVO, and it says there they do enable multi-region DVD... I just wander if that is the true with the PS2 slim...
