Copied DVD will not work on computer DVD

When I make a copy of a DVD using DVDDecrypter and then DVDShrink it is treated like a blank disk on the DVD player on my computer but it will run fine on my DVD player. If I try to do a disk copy using NERO it acts like the disk is blank. I'm at a complete loss!!!!

When you try to watch it on your computer, do you use the drive you burned it on originally or on a seperate DVD rom drive?

I have both a DVD player and a DVD burner and it will not play in either.

I'm not sure what youu mean by media. I'm really not that into all the terms yet. Sorry!!!!

But I'm using DVD RW+ blank disks on an EMPREX 8X DVD burner, Window XP and this is a E-Machine T-2082 computer! !!!!

Media is what the disc's are called that you are using to burn your movie to. For example, they may be Maxell DVD-R.
Also I always copy the files to my hard drive first and then use a burning program like Nero to burn it back to my blank media at no higher burn speed than 4x.

A few weeks ago I had the same problam. I downloaded a program called system cleaner and ran it. it fixed the problam,at least my computer likes the dvd,s I record too now.NOW the few dvd's that were backed up during that time frame still will not play in the computer just the dvd player.
p.s.
I figure some other program (stray) was corupting dvd shrink

what kind of player? power DVD or WMP?
do you have the required codecs installed?
