I rented this game, and when I put it in my xbox and tried to play it, my xbox just rebooted. I used dvd2xbox and copied it to the hard drive and then tried playing it and it worked fine. Anyone else experience some kind of "weirdness" when playing this game? I thought it was funny that the original didn't work. I'm debating whether or not to burn it to a dvd and try it.

Okay now on a more serious note...
Now that my copy is on the hard drive it won't play at all. The xbox keeps rebooting. In order to play it from the DVD I have to put it in the drive and reboot the xbox so that it automatically starts. This is the only way I can get it to work.

Try FTPing it over to your PC, and then use Craxtion to get rid of the media check (if it has one).

What Version of dvd2xbox are you using? Try and use the latest dvd2xbox 6.3 that might help!

I'm using DVD2XBOX 6.2 maybe that will help?? What are some of the new features in 6.3???? I don't think it's much different than 6.2 or is it.

Im not sure, but im thinking they made it where this game wont play on modded xboxs.
That way it prevents nude patches.

I had the same problem with this game. I tried burning it from the DVD drive then burning it from the HDD,both dvds didnt work at all they crashed as soon as they started up. Guess the Xbox WAS too horny!

I have DL this game from newsgroups and ripped to disc, PERFECT!
But does anyone know of a patch to remove the clothes when they are rooting?
It will never replace Leisure Suit Larry though! :)

I Loved Leisure Suit Larry!!! epecially the nude patch. Is there not a patch to run Playboy The Mansion off the HD like there was for Leisure Suit Larry??? I had to ftp a patch to my xbox because LSL would freeze upon startup...the patch fixed that problem.

Yes I sent out the nude patch for LSL.
Got one for my copy of the Punisher for more gore.
But does anyone know of a patch for Playboy Mansion to get full rooty nudity???

I just received the game from GameFly and it loaded to hd with no problems. I haven't tried to back it up yet but the actual game loads and plays fine.

I burned it to a dvd and then changed the settings for my tv. From the Evox dashboard I went into system settings and where it says tv it was originally at default. I changed it to NTSC. Then I put the dvd in and it booted without problems. I don't know why it wouldn't before but it does now and that's all I care about.

I have had problems also. I use boxplorer and it did not copy the game correctly. I ftp'd the files directly from the disk to the Pc and using craxtion 4 made an iso and it was less than 1G. To no suprise this didn't work. Right now I am going to FTP the files back to the xbox and see if it will play form the HD. I also got a black screen when I tried to play from the dashboard. I had to boot with the disk in. I will let you know if the ftp trick works.

Ok first of all when you ftp files from the pc to the xbox or from xbox to pc make sure you verify that it copied correctly. I've had to manually check every single file with some games to see if they are the correct sizes. This is a major pain in the ass but if it means that you will get a working copy of the game then go for it. I use Cute FTP and for some reason when I try to transfer files from pc to xbox they don't always transfer. Nobody has been able to tell me why.
Also, If you read the instructions above it tells you how to make Leisuresuit Larry completely nude. If you can't figure it out for some reason then ask the guy above who got it to work to send you the files he edited if he still has them on his pc hard drive.
