I was wondering if theres a way to access my hdd from my ps2 browser without hdadvance or hdloader and also if you can use it as a memory card?

no to the first question. kinda for the second. You can transfer saves from the memory card to the hd and vice versa, but you can't directly save you game onto the hd while your playing it.
