Can I rip a song out of a DVD and convert it to a wav or mp3?

There's a song I really want on one of my DVDs, but have no way of purchasing it because it's very old. Is there anyway for me to extract just the audio stream that I want?

If you use Smart Ripper you can choose what title/chapter it is and rip it. Just be sure to Demux it to seprate channels which will leave you with and aduio and a video file. Then you can use a program such as Nero or BeSweet to convert it to whatever format you want.

I use Windows Media Player to play the dvd so I can find exactly which title/chapter I want to convert is.

another good program is IMTOO dvd audio ripper .It will chapter the disc for you and you can select either wav or mp3 format
