Ok, when you say edit, do you mean remove?
Change the sub titles colour?
Add to them?
Change the language?

A direct link to whatever you want to do, is at the top of the page, named guides.

if you just want to remove them use DVDshrink it's free and there are lots of guides how to use it.

good luck

I am also new to this forum and trying to edit subtitles. To be specific, I am trying to correct 2 errors in the English subtitles for the movie Amelie. Subtitle 770 and 804 are incorrect. I used subrip to extract the subtitles in BMP format, used picture to correct the 2 images and then tried Subtitle Workshop to reattach. What happens is the BMP files names show up in the movie frame of Workshop. I tried again using subrip to extract the subtitles to a text file, corrected the errors and then used workshop to attach the subtitle file. It worked ok on the movie frame in Workshop but did not stay with the movie when I burned it to a disk.

How do I get the edited subtitles to stay with the movie?

Thanks,
Bob
