Need help burning backups

I got a 8x4x16 External USB 2.0 / Firewire DL DVD+/-RW Drive,

And I need to know what type on dvd-r or dvd+R it support .

I don't know what's the issue so far ,and I try almost everything that is told to me by a good friend of my .

Any help would be great

hey what i do to burn games is i use imation dvds and Nero to burn them a1x speed so it could burn good and thats been working perfect for me hope that works

Hi

That's One of the prob I am having is burning at 1x speed ...I can't find away to burn at 1x speed .

I need a dvd-r or dvd+r that can burn at 1x speed for the sony DRX710UL .

Hmm nothing so far ...Well I will try out the imation dvds ( Still don't know what kind should I get Dvd-r or dvd+r) If it don't work than I will buy a new buner cause I am out of idea .
