is this new DMS4 EZI Lite truly the best chip out now?

has any 1 got the new DMS4 EZI Lite or DMS4 EZI pro it the 1st 100% solderless chip for ps2 v4-v11. has anyone here bought it and have tryed it,they say it works wit the hdd and every thing if u..plz give me feedback if any 1 got this chip and tryed it?

I plan to write an install guide for the pro version on my v7 once i recieve my chip.
I plan to most likely put it on dms forums and on here

k is there a certain power adater that u need cuz i waz reading the requirments on it and didnt understand them i got a v7

You only need a 9v power adapter if you decide to use the test panel that comes with a chip.

The DMS4 LITE and PRO comes with a test panel that you can connect to your isntalled modchip via an included ribbon cable, and you power this test panel with a 9v adapter. There are numerous LEDs that will light green if your modchip is installed correctly, and will light red if you've made a small installation problem.

After you have tested the chip and made sure it has been installed correctly, you can remove this test panel.

Nope, only version 5 to 11 at the moment. However, a version 4 adapter, aswell as a version 12 adapter are currently being made.

DMS has started that they do not plan on making the chip compatible with versions 1-3 :(

Anyway, I'll place a review of it here when I get my PRO chip, aswell.
