I have been downloadin the same files literally for the last 2 months. Before I could download in a day or two. This is terrible. I though that my isp might be blocking edonkley but the other day i downloaded a 40mb file in 10mins so I think it's the downloads that have something wrong with them.

One for instance is 216mb and its 180mb for the past week. It has been transfering but when i get a good speed like 40kb/s it turns into 280000kb/s or around it and corrupts it so they delete the last 10 megs that i have downloaded.

Please help me before i break this computer lol.

Some info..

I have 1m/256kb cable..
Runnin WinXP Pro
I have 6 downloads in my queue but i try download 1 at a time.
I'm usually on AdaNET or Donkey Server 01
I don't block access with my firewall either

I'm confused. Please Help me

i found that downloading from edonkey could be a real pain i used maxdownload 70 /maxupload10.1 /line speed 512 /max concetion 4500 you can always go back to kazaa
i know iam bein smug but i think its a lot better /easyer to use for all us newbies ah well good luck and hope you get sorted soon

Nah, Kazaa sucks!! eDonkey rules, its just that lately there has been trouble with some of my downloads. I wouldn't bother with kazaa anymore for anything. Direct Connect and eDonkey are the best.

ah well ul just have 2 make do with what u have a very slow doneky think il go download some more songs on my very fast kazza i know its not as good but it works and if its not broke why fix it

OK, so you can also go download low quality tmd movies and I will download the original vcds/svcds around half a day after their release on irc. Also I'll download full albums from filedonkey and not have to worry about bad encoding. lol, Just kidding mate. I solved my problem with a program called donkeydoctor and edonkey2000 isnt that slow, you just have to get used to queues, queues for the best files lol J/K m8!
