Hello, im new to this forum, so i dunno if der anotha thread the same, iv had a look but haven't found 1.

My PS2 doesn't boot up DVD disks, it says reading disk but doesn't load the game. Ive tried cleaning the laser but it still doesn't work. I think it might be the laser but im not sure. Ive got a version 4 ps2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

use a dvd -r disc

Its not the disk type because it was working b4, but then i changed the cover for a fliptop cover because i was using swapmagic, but the cover wasn't working properly so i changed it back and now it only reads cd's and not DVD's
