is there any way to burn a wav file to audio cd using a cue sheet on a mac?

can anyone help?
apologies if in the wrong forum, but thought id target my question to max experts! ;)

I'm pretty sure toast can burn an audio cd from wav files. What do you mean by cue sheet?

On a windows platform it is possible to burn one long wav/mp3 file to cd. A cue sheet is used to by the burning software (on a pc i usually use a program called 'CDRWIN' ) to place track start points onto the cd. Thus burning a cd without noticable 'gaps'.

I use it when burning my dj mixes to cd without having to split the big wav up before burning.

An example '.cue' sheet contains data that looks like this:

i believe there was a panther program called 'firestarter' that did this, but the final beta is now expired.

i tried a cuesheet using toast 6 but it states that it is the wrong format.

Ok got it. You can do something similar with PEAK. Also JAM may be able to do it. Waveburner was the best but I don't know if it is OSX compatible these days. With waveburner you just dropped a visual like where your tracks started.

I'm going to check into waveburner again myself as I'm a registered user.
