I have a HD on my ps2 using hd advance 2.0, I want to make a backup of this HD using another drive, can I do this by hooking both drives up to windows(master and slave settings) and just copy by transferring files from one drive to the other? thanks

In order for windows to recognize a ps2 formatted hard drive you need to get hdl_dump at http://hdldump.ps2-scene.org/ this allows you to view the files on it and copy the files to another hard drive. Make sure you set the PS2 hard drive to slave.
