i have an older ps2 .i have a mod chip in it that i have to use game shark to make cd type back ups to work.
i have downloaded dvd decripter and made my ps2 dvd back up. it does not seem to work. do i have to get a different mod chip or different software to make mine work ? i did not install this mod chip so i don't know what one i have ( if there are more than 1 type)

I would get a mod-chip installed. The DMS4 pro is the best one out there and it can even support a non-Sony hard drive!!! You PS2 will play backups as if they were the originals (no waiting, swapping discs or holding--down keys). Check it out at http/www.mod-chip.com
