Can someone explain to me how DVD Loader works?

I am having problems playing my legal back ups. I have backed up me games for the kids PS2 but when i use swap magic i get "not a valid PS2 disk". It has been suggested to me that i use DVD Loader which i have found but i dont know this works.

it depends. dvd/cd loader is only needed for games listed here: http://www.swapmagicfix.com
How are you inserting your backup, slide card, fliptop, etc?

slide card mate. I can open the drawer, secure it back it, ps2 reads the disk and then i get the error message.

are you sure your backups have been burnt correctly?
have you got any to work?

are you using the swapmagic DISC as well?.you didnt say?
what version is your swapmagic?
what version is your ps2?
what media are you using?
