Hi apologies in advance as this is very likely a very newbie common question but...

I've tried twice to burn with Shrink DVD from files stripped using DVD Decrypter. Both instances my burner has failed to close the session and end up making coaster.

I'll tack on the error log below.

Further to my original post:

I just discovered that my burner will recognize and load/play the disc I burned and got the error message from.

The disc is not however recognizable on my DVD ROM drive in nmy PC and haven't tried it yet in a commercial stand alone dvd player.

I was reading a message you posted a few months back, about your dvd not closing your sessions. Were you able to figure out this issue, because I''m having the problem using DVDShrink and Nero.

Yup the previous poster hit the nail on the head.

My problem was the media. I was using Memorex discs that a large electronics chain store had on special here. When I went shopping at a local wholsaler I was able to buy better media for less money (in bulk) and solved my problem.

It's worth reading through the guides on media and becoming an informed consumer.

It sure is fun watching the price floors on D5 media collapse :)
