Hi, I'm having problem burning Ray, DVD Shrink keeps giving an error, "error copyright protected". I tried DVD Decrypter, but DVD SHRINK does not reconize the Video-ts file. All my problem started since I removed DVD Idle from my computer. Please Help Thanks

Method 1. Recommended.
Rip with DVD Decrypter in File Mode.
DVD Decrypter > Mode > File F
Then.
DVD Shrink > Open Files

Method 2. Not recommended.
Rip with DVD Decrypter in ISO Mode.
DVD Decrypter > Mode > ISO > Read R
Then.
DVD Shrink > File > Open Disc Image

Method 2 is more likely to cause out of memory errors and other errors because of movies that have multiple angles or both wide and full screen versions.

If you have already ripped a DVD in ISO mode with DVD Decrypter using method 2, continue with that method unless you get an error.

Veblin,

Interesting theory about the "memory error" problem. I'm from the "ISO" school rather than the "File" approach. All those strange sounding files in a folder always seemed needlessly complicated to my simplistic mind, unless you're doing some serious editing.

I'll try your suggested approach on the next problem disk I try to back up.

I contend the "memory error" is really a Shrink/Nero Recode2 program buffer problem where the programs, for whatever reason, can't handle encoding two titlesets that share VOBs. And this problem seems selective depending on something else in the DVD authoring architecture I haven't identified.
