Hi i was also just wandering if DVD decrypter would make an exact backup of any ps2 games, giving no errors or crappy gameplay? I was told by this unreliable source (crackhead) that for EA games (e.g. NFSU2) you need some sort of patch for it to work, is this true?

Im using swapmagic V2.00

Using DVD Decrypter is the way to go, it has given me plenty of perfect backups.

The only reason you would have to patch a ps2 game would be to get it to be capable of online play.

make sure you use dvd-r media.not dvd+r

well if you have an older version use -r but newer like slimline use +r

i ahve a v7 dvd+r works and mt friends version 4 will play my dvd+r when i bring them to his house along with my sm2dvd and a knife to knife trick it in

on mine i have a fliptop
