Hi, i recebtly backup up Tekken4 (my fist ever time using swapmagic dvd version 2.00) and when i swapped the backup in the screen froze for a few seconds and then the background went lilac/pink/purple.... however after doing this a few times it went blue and then green (or was it the other way round)....

Now ive just backed up NFSU2 and tried loading it, ive tried pressing different buttons but it keeps coming up with the purple screen?

What is this damn purple screen????
Thanks for any help

Use better media.
Burn at 1x if possible (2x max)
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:

are you sure that is the problem, because when i was playing tekken4 the backup seemed to work fine....

could it possibly be the swap magic disc, because it is quite badly scratched.... but this guy told me his was like that too but it still works.

The quality matter because they are all different kinds
of dyes used on the bottom.
the ones i posted before use a dark purple (AZO) dye.
That work well with the ps2.Also,
Depending on your ver ps2 you want to use +r disks.
