Can someone in one post tell me how to fix ea sport games so that it can work, i read all the other posts but there are so many replys that i dont even know what to try. I have a version 4 ps2. I have a swap magic 3.3 dvd and 3.3 cd. I also have cogswap, cdloader, dvdloader, and devil may cry for a toc refresh. I also have dvd decrpter alcohol 120 and nero ready. Also, i downloaded this thing called ea patch kit, ea patcher, and ultraiso. Please help me someone.

you don't need any ea fixes when using swap magic unless its listed at swapmagicfix, which would require cd loader.

But my ea sport games freeze and the music gets messed up, im not specifically looking for a fix, but i want to know what method to use to make ea sport games work.

I knew you were gonna ask that. I use dvd-r only and i used 3 different brands, TDK, Memorex, and Imation. But i dont think the media type makes a difference as long as its a dvd-r

it makes a huge difference. I tried princo once, and the ps2 wouldn't even try reading it. Memorex and imation are poor quality, tdk is pretty good though. I'd say try to get 1 verbatim datalife plus (about the best you can get) and see if that works.

maybe the ea game is a bad burn...

how comes my ea games are slow and the music isnt right these games are nba street 3 nfs2 champions leauge and so on. I have a ps2 with a ripper gold 2 modchip.
I have emprex dvd burner and i use dvd decryter at 1 speed with maxwell - dvds. I have read all of your forums but cant find the info i need.

It's not always a matter of media. I've had some problems with EA games as well, but tweaking Alcohol 120% a bit cleared things up completely. If you're sure your media is good, try my (copied from another person's thread) solution here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/158802
