download Windows Movie Maker 2 (search for it on yahoo or google) It is free and a pretty good video editor all around

VirtualDUB is the best avi editor. As for special effect. I dunno if you can do that with it.

I'm just using Windows 98...so i can't use the Windows Movie Editor 2...><..
and I really dunno that VirtualDUB can have special effect on the .avi file?? can u please teach me how to do it?.. Thx.

I found an editor called Camtasia Studio..but it's just a shareware...can you give a solution on how can I use this software ? Thx..

Well I dont smell a banning cause dRD is on holidays but I do think one of the moderators are gonna hide that message and threaten you about posting piracy related issues on the forum

Anyway, go with VirtualDub. You'll find many effects for it, and it's freeware.
